The Basic Rudiments
At the very least you need to start with the Essential 26. Anyone who played in their high school band has probably got these down to a science. These are the basics and all of them are easily incorporated on the drum kit in various combination’s when you play. Yes I’m a big believer in the basics because once you get these down you’ll notice your drumming skills moving onto a new level. It’s going to take some time to perfect them all but this system is among the best for beginners and even experienced drummers who have fallen behind on their skills.
